West Coast Rods

Gold or black fiberglass rod blank with a teal base wrap and a black top wrap. West Coast Series Rods are ideal for anglers seeking traditional performance, durability and quality at an affordable price.

Grafighter® Rods

Our state of the art Graphite. Gray/Black composite rod blank with white, teal and black wraps. Graphite and fiberglass from butt to tip. Grafighters® are state of the art fishing rods, built with a level of strength, durability and performance unmatched! These rods are light in weight, yet provide a strong recoil for landing the biggest ones! Definitely unmatched!

GG Composite Rods

Carefully developed based on Calstar's 4 decade glass rod heritage, the GG series offers the classic feel of a glass rod, modernized for weight with select carbon fiber patterns added. In many ways, the GG series is a value leader while still providing the unmatched performance of a Calstar rod. The black blank is beautifully matched with top quality components, and wrapped with black, red and white threads for a striking contrast.

About Calstar

Calstar fishing rods and blanks are proudly made in our own factory in Gardena, California, where we can ensure we maintain the highest levels of quality and performance. The rod blank is the key to any fishing rod - responsible for virtually all of the fishing rod performance. At Calstar, we design our own patterns and material layups, and cut, roll and cure our blanks on our proprietary mandrels. Truly made in the USA. We do not import our blanks from other countries or states.

Calstar proudly supports our dealers/retailers and we do not sell our products to individuals, groups or clubs. We don't have factory sales or specials. Please see your dealer for informed advice and to benefit from their expertise. Calstar may offer selected merchandise, such as shirts and hoodies, at consumer shows and online.

Calstar rods and blanks carry a limited lifetime warranty, and are only sold by our select dealers. Calstar is not open to the public.
